Je zou denken dat ik ondertussen weet dat ik niet alle boeken zou moeten kopen voordat ik de serie ook echt heb gelezen. Maar helaas...

Het boek begon heel erg leuk en interessant. De eerste 25% van het boek vermaakte ik me echt, maar daarna werd het helaas heel duidelijk dat er niks verder uitgewerkt ging worden. Personages bleven erg oppervlakkig, de vriendschappen waren niet overtuigend, de liefde was heel erg versneld en... om eerlijk te zijn, ook heel erg genant om te lezen. Het voelde zo geforceerd en niet oprecht.
Ik ga proberen de volgende boeken in de serie alsnog een kans te geven, maar ik denk dat deze serie gewoon niet voor mij is. Helaas...
